Commentary: Brilliant from Stefanos Tsitsipas
Felix gifted that break with two double faults.

Well, that's a shame how it turned out, but that's the best match I've seen Felix play in well over a year. 7-5 4-6 6-3 for Greek Yogurt.

Denis takes the opening set in a tie-breaker (7-5 was the tie-breaker score). Not playing as well as he did yesterday against Chardy, but was down 5-4 in the tie-breaker and gutted it out.

Shapo breaks midway through set 2 as Harris is starting to show signs of fatigue.

A horrific service game from Denis and we're back on serve in set 2.
Edit: Shapo was up 4-2, now he's down 5-4.

We need a 3rd set as Harris wins set 2 6-4. Just a total meltdown by Shapo who was two games away from the final.
Edit: Denis finally wins a game after dropping five straight.

Shapo survives for now (saves a match point with Harris serving at 6-5 in the tie-breaker).

Well, that's a missed opportunity for Denis. Full credit to Harris, but you can't lose a match up a set and a break in the way that he did.

Honestly, that was really disappointing. I don't mean that as disrespect for Harris -- he did what he had to do. But, wow, Shapo. Excuse my language, but talk about pissing it away. No killer instinct whatsoever.

I really hated that game Shapo played at 2-4 in the second set (Harris serving) when he essentially didn't show up and it was an easy hold for Harris. Even the commentator said Shapo appeared to be focusing on his service game, but you have your opponent down a break, what's wrong with trying to go up a double break? Even if you don't get the break, at least force Harris to expend some energy as it may pay off when you're serving.
As I type, it looks like Karatsev is going to end Rublev's winning streak at the ATP 500 level, so that makes today's loss even more of a missed opportunity.

Why aren't Canadians closers? Too nice?

Not sure, but Bianca is nice and she's a closer. Felix had no problem winning junior and ATP Challenger titles, but can't seal the deal on the ATP tour. Denis has one ATP title, but is now 2-10 in ATP semi-finals. Denis turns 22 next month, still young and has plenty of time, but I think everyone expected more than one title at this point in his career.

Karatsev was shaky in that final set, but he did beat Rublev. The Dubai final (a 500 event) will be between a qualifier and a wild card. I don't know if that has ever happened before.

Not sure if I'll be able to follow this one all the way through, but Leylah takes the first set over Kuzmova 7-5 in the Monterray QF.

Yeah, it got a little sticky there at the end, but when you're up a double break, you can afford a slip-up.
/Take notes Denis
