Also lulz in that twitter chatter when the fan boys talk about Chicago non playoff series. Two hilarious things? It was larsson’s fault for being injured as he would have won the series. And of course that no good oiler puck luck. Now you know!

The best coaching decision by Greg Gilbert, waiving Berube to stay on the ice.
Outside of an Iginla goal to eliminate the Oilers from playoff contention, and Iginla's 50th goal in 2001, this brawl, with Lowry's flip and Gilbert's wave, was the greatest Flames moment between basically April 1996 and October 2003 when Sutter was able.to start his first full season.

Kassian runs a skill player from behind tonight , Lowry begging to fight him. Caveman won’t go. Has the almighty Oilers code changed? Kassian the turtle?

I'd like to think so. Ehlers was in the same position for the entirety, no sudden movements, and Kassian took advantage of a vulnerable player from behind.
Oiler fans are using the excuse that he had a broken hand so he can't fight. Bottom line, I've said this a billion times. Kassian is a scumbag, he's a cowardly spot checker who takes a ton of liberties.
As a coach if Lowry came back and said he can't fight broken hand. I'd tell the team to start laying major hits on Draisaitl and McDavid. Kassian's got a history of dirty hits and injury players. The league needs to suspend him for at least 10 games.
I think his last suspension was 7 games for kicking a player. So clearly he isn't learning.

1-2 games?
also a full beat late, so it was 100% avoidable
People complain about Tom Wilson, but I don't remember him kicking players with his skates when down. Kassian is a much worse piece of human garbage.

Haha suspension? I’ve seen worse hits by Calgary players this year with no call no suspension and no one even fighting.
Replace ehlers getting hit with draisaitl or McDavid and imagine the narrative. "Protect star players, How could they let this happen, goon play, etc..." its a joke.
