They have more points this season than the Flames, you’re correct.
Have the Chicago Blackhawks been a better team than the Dallas Stars this year? They have more points this season, yes. Are they a better team than Dallas who made the cup final last year? No.
What’s your point.

I don't think I've ever seen Markstrom let in as many bad goals since we first got him from Florida.

How many games have the Flames won this year when they didn't get phenomenal goaltending?

Kassian and Nurse have now scored. **** me. This loss is up there with the senators losses and the other 7-1 loss. It’s so hard to be a fan of this goddamn team.
Oh kelly, now tell us about how great Barrie is.

Flames not dumping and chasing properly all game - letting Smith play the puck is a mistake when you dump. And not clogging the NZ either.

Lol, so many people jumping off the bandwagon already? It's been 4 games FFS. Sutter is awesome and all, but the Flames were never gonna run the table and they're not gonna turn into Cup contenders overnight. It's going to take some hard work to get this group to the dance.
Catching the Oilers is still very possible IMO. They still suck, and they have a tougher schedule from here on out.

It's bad enough we lose to these clowns but getting blown out just rubs salt in the wound. Brutal game.

Yikes. You know it's not you're night when you're down 7-1 AND Kassian and Haas score and get points on you.

I think Tanev, Hanafin, Lindholm, Dube and the fourth line have been fine.

If I am Sutter, this is when I figure out this team. Roll all 4 lines and see which players still give their best effort even with the score being so lopsided.

That's because the relationship with Brodie was fractured by trying to trade him.

Ya except Markstrom is nowhere near the goalie that Roy was. He has been terrible tonight, it is not a night where you mercy pull him because he has been good.

My point is that the oilers have dominated the flames and scored a touchdowns worth multiple times this year. It's clear that they are superior to this iteration to the flames.
