Yeah, we can’t keep playing Giordano and Andersson together and expect it to have any sort of success. It’s a bad pair.

Just like Monahan and Gaudreau.

What play are you talking about? He wasn’t wayyyyy behind McDavid. He was beside him, forced him wide and then McD passed to a wide open Nurse (Mangiapane’s man).

Agreed and I don’t like the lack of physicality. Just smash kill if you’re going to lose.

Remember when some posters claimed this core is not a problem after 2 games. This is why you wait and don't go crazy after a small sample size.

I blame the jerseys. Embarrassing that we are still wearing these.

Believe it or not, high danger chances are currently 7-5 for the Flames. Oilers have six goals on yes, five high danger chances.

Why is hrudey still cheering the oilers? If mcdingus sees the ice for the rest of the game the flames better take note. Figured he and crybaby Leon would come back strong after the last game.

Ya and 9M for a no show, plus 6+ for a top line C that can't skate.
The team has some very flawed players.

Losing is fine. Expected. Acceptable.

####ting the god damned bed against your rival twice in a month? Absolutely gross.

Why do I bother getting excited for this team man.

Yes, I question it.

The Flames have played the Oilers poorly, no question. But the Oilers are under .500 against teams not called Ottawa. They are not a very good team.

But the Flames aren't aware of that fact yet

Montreal got 3/4 points in Winnipeg. Flames in a tough spot.

Flames love to get blown out. Probably lead the league with lopsided losses.

Now is when the real evaluation begins for him.

Flames have no answer for McAvi. Who gives a #### if he plays D if no one stops him.

More disappointing is we have no counter.

13, 23, 19. Might as well be a 4th line. No top end talent vs among the best of top end talent. We lose.
