That was a very impressive aspect of Monday's game: after Edmonton tied it @ 3, the Flames really pressed, and then after they scored the GWG, they continued to press and even drew the last penalty of the game. Edmonton did not really get any more zone time after their goal until the last 3 mins of the game.

Grrr. NHL regional restrictions, the game is blacked out on NHL tv because it’s on NBCSN. The Philly game is running long, so I may miss the start. To top it off, when the game starts, I don’t have a PVR on my cable down here, so I’ll have to suffer through commercials.

I assume it’s also a smaller sample size as most teams have played about 28 games.
I’m guessing that records tend to normalize to the mean as the season wears on.
