Which players do you think they overpaid for? I think their a legit QB away from being a contender.

If the Texans are involved in any way in this then the franchise might as well fold because no one of value will ever play there again

Agholor, Smith, and Mills were all overpays. Mills wasn't as bad as the first two, but still not good.

Buzbeee, the plaintiff’s attorney, is an interesting guy with quite the reputation.

What do you mean “if the Texans are involved”? How? Because the owner knows the lawyer?

Agholor's 2021 cap number is currently ranked 27th in the NFL which means he is behind players such as Randall Cobb, Alshon Jeffery and Jamison Crowder who all posted worse or similar statistics last year.

The other 3 are very likely getting cut this year (Alshon 100% is going to be released). Agholor posted the second worst catch rate in the league last year according to PFF. His cap hit also rises to $15M next year, which would be the 11th highest in the league at WR, and it'll cost them $10M in dead money to cut him. It's a bad deal, especially considering the other WR options that are still on the market.

He was a scrap heap player last year that the Raiders signed for $1.5 million and he had a good not great year largely due to Waller commanding a lot of attention and catching deep balls from an accurate deep ball thrower in Carr. I don't see him ever having a better season than the one he just came off and he's getting paid to be a $1000 yard receiver. I'm still pretty shocked he got that contract based on one decent year.

I can't see what the Texans would have to gain by defaming their QB and having him suspended by the league as that would pretty well tank any trade value he would have.

Not only that, but his best seasons have come from playing in the slot when there are 2-3 better receiving options on the outside/at TE to take attention off of him. The Pats already have one of the best slot WRs in the league in Edelman, so that tells me they think Agholor can play outside, where he's generally been awful his entire career.

He actually played on the outside last season with the Raiders so I expect that's where they will play him next season.

Andrews really hitting the market then? I thought this was just the Pats' usual strategy of letting him see what he can get and then matching it.

you dont hear much about Stidham anymore, it would appear thet he will not be the answer at QB as he really should be the starter by now if he had the game

It’s certainly quite an accusation to even imply. Based on fact that two uber rich white guys lived in the same neighborhood in Houston.

Raiders are not cutting Hudson, but are trading him to the Cardinals for a pick swap.

Looks like that is the case. They will save more coin this way.

There is apparently to be four separate assault cases brought against Watson. He might be in a bit of trouble on this one.

Cases as in criminal cases? All I have heard so far is one civil suit that was posted by the plaintiff’s attorney on social media as soon as it was filed.
