Oilers took some heavy hits and will likely be down a man or 2 next game!

That was way more difficult than it needed to be. How they can't shut down this two man team is beyond me.

ARMCHAIR QUARTERBACKS AND/OR MEDIA EXPERTS: "Will Sutter put a Bennett-like shadow on McDavid...? Or which line will he deploy against McDavid in a shut-down capacity?"
SUTTER: "...Any and/or all of them...?"
(Love it! JUST DO YOUR JOB!)

Is it time we discuss Mangiapane being one of the Flames best players?

I trust that 100% of viewers see a profound difference in this same exact group of hockey players under one coach versus his predecessor. The levels of engagement and compete are absolutely tremendous to watch, win or lose.
There is little question that under actual coaching and leadership the Calgary Flames are a competitive team that can challenge the Leafs as the best team in the division. The Edmonton Oilers continue to lack structure and depth, poised to fall early in the playoffs, perhaps to these Calgary Flames.

Fantastic save by Markstrom on that last shot!
I was definitely sweating in the last 2 minutes, but it's nice to care enough to be stressed!

The media around the team think he's been quietly as good as Tanev, and is an equal reason why that pairing has been as good as it has been.

I'm not sure I'd agree about "passive". The Greasers pressed pretty hard and the Flames bent...and didn't break. They NEVER looked flustered to me while chasing the puck down. I'm Ok with that.
