unbelievable shift by gaudreau. skates hard after Ennis to force a turnover, gets right back into the zone and draws a penalty. Sutter must love what hes seeing.

I think Ritchie and Monahan have been fine. Gaudreau has been gawd awful. If it weren't for Tkachuk, Johnny Hockey would be the worst player on this team. Still think you move both of them and the team is better.

I gotta say, I’m loving what Brett (Byron) Ritchie is bringing to this team! He hits guys hard every time he can.

Hanif8n on the powerplay is a good thing IMO. Not get Kylington manning PP2.

Contrary view but I didn’t think that shorty attempt last time was on Gio, but more on the sloppy pass back to him.

I'm a huge Gio fan, but with the way Hanifin is playing, there's no way to keep him off the PP.

Therein lies the problem. I don't think they can. When games are tight or big they simply cannot find that next gear that you need to make a difference. And come playoff time that's a huge problem. Only hope is Sutter can somehow wizard it out of them. And Chucky has to be included in this conversation as well.

And I say this as Johnny really looks like he's trying. Monahan too. They just can't seem to find the space they need.

That was a very good effort. Do it again.

Hate to harp on Ward, but why was Ritchie scratched in favour of Simon and Nordstrom?
Ritchie is playing great. Big guy, hits, fight and is pretty fast.

And there goes Smith's paper groin again.

Edit: Thought it was his sudden movement. High shot.

The guy is such an old-schooler.

If he had a better moustache, I'd swear they'd poached him from 1979.
