The poster called him that because of what Khaira looks like, not some educated guess of where he's from. In fact, there was nothing educated about it at all.
I mean, from word one forward it was pretty clearly racist. It's the silly "you people that come here" could mean anyone argument all over again.

This is the absolute last I'll say on the situation, but Khaira isn't Afghan, he's Indian. Also Jiri made mention of one of the original poster's other comments:

I thought the Flames were a bit sloppy and as some have said they were backing up too much... Need a bit more in your face and north!

It was one of their better 2nd periods all season.

He is very good at it (for a goalie). That doesn't mean that he should be doing it.

He is good at it, for a goalie. BUT it doesn’t help his team much. He doesn’t have anywhere near the ability to move it to a skating forward that a defenceman does, nor doe he have the option of skating it himself. So he ends up firing a long pass to a stationary teammate and he gets checked easily.
One in a blue moon he will connect for an assist. I suspect those instances are way more rare than his screwups leading to a goal against.
