Probably. If he were in this year's draft, he would likely be in the running for 1st overall.

This is about as bad as the Lebrun offer.

The time to trade M. Tkachuk for Stutzle was pre-season before Stutzle's potential turned into reality. That kid is going to be a big star IMO.

I believe the point was to illustrate just how bad the Burnside suggestion was by proposing something equally preposterous.

Well, he is not showing it this year
The way he is going, he is getting closer to James Neal than a star player

Would Ottawa be players if it meant Tkachuk bros playing together?

The plus would be huge.

You are joking right? Please tell me I missed the sarcasm.
Tied for 3rd in goals and 2nd in assists and 3rd in overall scoring on the team. The only time Tkachuk is close to Neal, is when he punches him in the face.

I want to see Neal and Lucic fight. Just to drive the point home over who won the trade. Also I'd like a Lucic hat trick, or at least a Gordie Howe version.

Also Lucic and Smith. Let's make that fight happen soon.

Something interesting to watch.
Kylington has played 4 games, after 10 games he needs to clear waivers again to go on the taxi squad. He’s looked good, but something to consider around the trade deadline.
The Flames have 15 games until the trade deadline.

How are you going to convince Neal that Lucic's knuckles are hosting a VIP party for him and that it isn't icing sugar?

Bottle service.
ETA: It'd be hilarious if Neal tried to skate away and Lucic chased him because they'd be unintentionally slowly skating around the ice.

Scott Burnside with the crappiest homer Leafs trade possible. Kerfoot, a horrible prospect and a pick for one of the most dynamic offensive players in the league.
|
Ugh this is why Toronto and their media is annoying.
Gaudreau for nylander seems far more plausible.
Gaudreau is the Superior player, nylander is more cost controlled.

Correction, Burnside is based out of Atlanta.

Taking a while to get to 5000
|
Such an awful deal.
Gaudreau for a bottom 6 role player, a (possibly very) late first and a prospect who I'm pretty sure the Leafs have soured a bit on.
Guarantee at least 1 of the other 29 teams beats that. Easily.
