Nope. I definitely said there was zero chance the Flames would fire Ward mid-season, but I did not "openly mock those who wanted a coaching change." I WANTED A COACHING CHANGE, and was pleasant surprised when it happened. I don't think I am alone I tbat.
And let's be clear, here: my responses have been directed specifically to those who appear to believe that Sutter solves all of the teams problems. I am ecstatic with the hire, and happy with the win, but will continue to regard these juniour-high-level "told you so" retorts as exceptionally premature.
So, you can spare me your sanctimonious "think before you predict" advice.

Sorry. You are right. The game was awesome, and the win was awesome. Sutter is a fantastic coach, and while I continue to be cautiously optimistic, this game was a welcome change from what we have seen since the beginning of February.

Great win. I disagreed with the referees and the commentator more than I yelled at the team. What a set up for the Monday & Wednesday back-to-back. Citing Lucic and many: "Buckle Up!"

The way they are playing even if they lose ill still be happy. They are giving it 100% and thats all I ask. New coach bump or not when they play the right way it keeps the fans entertained. This still isnt a cup team on paper but we can work on that latter. This is a big step, actually showing up to play a full game.
