Monahan a puck hound?

That forcheck he did before Ritchie jumped in on the first goal was something else. Never seen Monny play that determined.

This looks like a completely different team. They are great on ice but also look so wired on the bench.

Hard work, but I bet the are loving it.

Sutter needs to remind them keep skating ...

Our forwards are NOT backchecking enough and we have to get better.

We can activate our Defense way more if they back check. Tkachuk needs to sit a few games and a heat player needs to step in .

40 minutes left fellas.

I'm talking about the one with Lindholm and he tried a toe drag. Shoot low on the pads and the rebound comes out to Lindholm driving down the middle

That “garbage” goal by Monahan probably took a lot of concentration to get his stick on a bouncing puck with everyone all around.

This is what a real coach looks like! Ward should of been gone long time ago.

Chucky needs an excorsim. Gotta get that between the legs pass and shot BS out of his system. If he just bought completely into the meat and potatoes kind 9f hockey like his dad was, he'd be a superstar. It's fine for a between the legs shot but making that a key macro button in your repertoire isn't the recipe for success. Stop the cute plays and start manning up.

So am I, that was Tkachuk.

Dube made the pass to Tkachuk to create that 2 on 1.

No mistakes in the first, stops a breakaway chance and creates a scoring chance by getting a shot through traffic.

If he keeps it up, Nesterov will sit again next game.

That Kylington backcheck to snuff out Byron's breakaway will get him at least one more game imo.

Think people are being hard on Tkachuk. He's making the right plays, they just aren't working. He's still a beast on the forecheck, I think he will break through soon.

Absolutely, maybe a garbage goal but the result of working harder than your opponent.

That’s what we’ve been missing.

This is a key game for the Habs and the Flames are out working them.

I understand working him in, but he needs a few games in a row.

Kylington needs a longer leash. On top of his elite recovery ability, he has a wicked shot he doesn't get nearly enough 9f a chance to use.

Hated him while he played, but man's got a knack for TV.

Anyone know if they've acknowledged the Ryan Leslie impression of Ron MacLean?

This season, the Flames have had a guy named Byron and a guy named Ritchie, and they have previously had a guy named Byron Ritchie.

I'd probably forget his name was Brett, too.
