Default Players around the league

Was looking at some stats and found a few interesting things.. Anyone got anything interesting around the league?

- Lazar is doing decently in Buffalo - 7 points
- Hathaway is doing decently in Washington - 7 points

- Detroit's leading point getter has 0 goals
- Hall and Eichel have TWO goals each (Bennett has more)

- Fox is doing pretty well in NY
- Janko has 0 points in his last 20 games

- MAF has a .938 / 1.73 in Vegas

The Detroit one seemed insane but you're right.

Filip Hronek leads the team with 14 assists and zero goals.

Milan Lucic with 6 goals. More goals than MacKinnon, Duchene, Hall and Neal

Wait, there’s other players in the league besides McDavid? You lied to me Sportsnet!

I was really rooting for Jankowski. Even though the Flames let him go he seems like a talented player and good person. But clearly he's not much of an NHLer. All that speed, size and skill - it just doesn't come together.
Too bad.

Milan Lucic: 6g - $5.25M cap hit

Jack Eichel, Taylor Hall, Jeff Skinner: 5g $27M cap hit

Edit:
Jesus, you can throw Okposo in there for another 0 goals and $6M

Holy crap, those are the 4 highest paid players in Buffalo, and combined they have fewer goals than Lucic.

Man I feel sorry for those fans.

Phil Kessel is having a decent bounce-back year in AZ, with eight goals and 17 points in 26 games, but his underlying numbers have been disastrous both offensively and defensively.

Conor Garland is emerging as a true star in the desert. 22 points in 25 games and playing some dominant hockey. Clayton Keller is having a good year, too — 21 points in 26 games. Christian Dvorak and Nick Schmaltz have been a formidable one-two punch at centre.

More than anything, though, Jakob Chychrun is speeding by Ekman-Larsson as the Coyotes' number-one defenseman. 19 points in 26 games while leading the team with 22:58 a night and posting a 51.58 xGF%.

7 of the top 13 statistical players are in the North division.

Wasn't sure what Darryl was seeing in regards to the division but there's a good amount of skill/firepower north of the border

I think it’s because of awful defence and goaltending, not the firepower.

How in the hell does Ralph Krueger still have a job....with that team and talent they should be scoring at a much higher clip.

Yeah they aren't very strong in net but you would expect so much more from those players.

The Minnesota Wild fascinate me. They're 3rd in the West and likely to make the playoffs despite Bill Guerin trying to make them lose. Dean Evason has made them better. Kiril Kaprizov has been quite good for them, but outside of him they are extremely unspectacular but they don't give up much of anything.

The Chicago racist named hockey team is also doing really well. Half way in, I don't know if the Stars will be able ro run them down and bump them out of the playoffs. They're a bit like that 14-15 Flames team but with Patrick Kane.

With that kind of production I'm amazed they've won 6 games.

Buffalo makes Edmonton look like an average franchise. If I was Pergula I might ask if I could pay 200 million to disband that team and join the Kracken in an expansion draft.

Petr Mrazek was interesting story and it is a shame that he got hurt. 2 shutouts in three games. Also Dougie Hamilton has continued to kick some ass this year after a strong season last year.

I wouldn't go this far. Edmonton sucked long before Buffalo did, and sucker way harder.

If fact, they still do. And always will.

Only 2 goals though, quite low for him
