I haven't been this excited for a game in years now.

No guarantee that Sutter can fix this but a little hope is nice. But it's the hope that kills you.

Flames will definitely benefit from the new coach bump tonight. I have no doubt for at least the first few shifts of the game they will be pushing extremely hard and the Habs will be a little tired from playing last night.

It will be interesting to see if they can maintain their hard work for the full 60?

My hope is that we become a four line team that rolls at you in waves. Seems like these line combos are built in that vein.

This is a pretty important game for the standings.

The Flames are kind of on life support, so they have to win, and win now.

The herd will be thinned damn fast too. Darryl is going to quickly establish who the losers on this team are under him.

Don't wanna skate? You'll sit.
DONT wanna hit? Sit
Don't wanna buy in ? Sit.

Losers always so what losers do ....they won't even try.

You can listen to a 3 cup coach or kick your lunch box down the road....its that F ing simple.

Remember....Darryl double shifting Iginla? Out top players and it doesn't matter who it is are going to get leaned on damn hard .

Darryls show me moments will quickly get your attention. Watch the bench shorten !!

Whoever has IT to give he will take everything. If you can't deliver? Enjoy riding the pine, not dressing and getting traded.

If BT is paying attention hell know what DS is doing and follow suit.

7 games, 7 four-point games yet with the Habs.

Despite the numbers looking bad, that right there is having your destiny in your own hands.

Thats whats different with this race and why it can swing in a hurry - you're playing the teams you're chasing multiple times.

That is a long way back. It has to start tonight.
It's not that far back really, Flames need to win these next 2 no question. And if they do they're right back in it essentially. I would not call that 'a long way back' by any stretch.

We dont need a 7 game win streak here.

I'm looking for structure tonight. Not sure we get two points but I'm hoping to see steps forward. 60 minute effort. No passengers. Thats it, thats all. These players have a lot of work to do to get to Sutters standard.

Oh and I think Gio is going to be the first one to fall. Losing a step and then getting a coach that needs you to play faster?? Yeah, it's going to be a tough nut to crack for our captain.

I guess I'll tune in to see if this version of the flames will be any better but honestly this team has made me lose any interest in hockey and I used to be die hard. I'm desperately hoping that fire comes back

I personally think Gio will do well under Sutter. He is smart and coachable - Sutter will get him faced in the right direction.

It is kind of a long way back. A seven game win streak, followed by a loss with a loss, doesn't get you back in a playoff spot. Probably still a game or so out so you still ahve to outplay the competition after that.

I hope Kylington is given a fair chance to establish himself as a regular.

It is going to be an interesting end of the year. Next 30 games have to be playoff hockey. I think it will be defining moments for Gaudreau, Monahan, etc.
