Default Compression socks

Any use these? I've got poor circulation in my feet, and they were recommended. Just wondering if anyone had a good brand or style to suggest, or if they all sorta work the same.

I wear compression socks when I am snowboarding and I like them quite a bit. Mine were "custom" made though where somewhere takes various measurements of your foot, ankle and calves and based on the measurements and usage they have a specific design for the sock. I'm not sure if they are better than standard compression socks though.

I use to wear the ones for plantar fasciitis, ankle cut and usually toe less and loved them. I bought full length ones for trips where I will do a lot of walking and they definitely seem to help with pain and tiredness in the calves and feet.

I just got cheap amazon ones to see if I would like them first. Start there and see how you like them.

I bought a few pairs off Amazon a few years ago and I wear them on occasion. I even got ones in Argyle as they'd look nice for work.

I usually wore them after playing hockey the night before and if my legs were sore and it worked well for the purposes of reducing soreness.

Medically I required prescription grade compression socks after leg surgeries a few years ago. that is 20-30mm Hg compression. It was recommended that I continue to wear them... that said I actually prefer my compression socks.

If you are able to get a doctors prescription then they're usually covered under most benefits plans... because the "real" ones are expensive... like ~$100-120/pair. I swear by the Sigvaris ones... BUT look online as the in-store catalogs only have about 1/3 of the selection. I get mine at Shoppers. I *highly* recommend the WOOL ones for cold temperature activities, like night and day difference.

For higher intensity activity I have a few pairs of these:

These ones are pretty cool... although a bright red... and decently warm:

Here are the wool ones... I *love* these although they're too warm for summer

I have tried the knee high as well as the thigh high. Do not bother with the thigh height as they always slip down and it's super aggravating and annoying.

I really hate high socks, so I might try thigh high for a pair...

Nothing worse than you bed-partner putting their icy cold feet in the crook of your knees... or for that matter anywhere. In that case socks are totally required.
That said if I'm cold I wear socks to bed and I warm up much faster.. then peel them off once I get too hot.

I use 2XU compression socks (knee high) for athletic recovery. Pretty happy with them, and they ship out of Kelowna I believe.
