As someone that does listen pretty much every morning, I couldn't disagree more. I think he gives great insight on what's going on from a player's perspective. He tells it how it is and isn't a complete homer like the guys doing PBP.

I love the morning show, they tell it like it is. I live in Ottawa and try to tune in as often as possible.

Strongly disagree. I tune in almost every morning (don't live in CGY, but use tuneIn radio app).

I really enjoy the trio, especially with Ryan Pinder joining that group. Different personalities, that don't just agree on everything, and don't just tow the line.

Get some honest questions and opinions raised, and I also find at least some of the non-sports talk mildly amusing...

To go a step further, I found myself listening way less often when Rhett left, and even when I did tune in, I found myself switching away pretty quickly.

I listen pretty much every day and when I can't I grab the pod.

I find Pinders constant interruptions to be the most annoying part of the show, but that's a minor complaint.

Overall, they are pretty balanced in their Flames coverage, definitely not homers. Rhett brings good background to the group, and they have good regular contributors, with Friedman and Versteeg being the standouts.

Anyone who thinks Sportsnet 960 are homers hasn't listed to any other local radio in Canada. Up north the Oilers can do no wrong...they miss the playoffs by 30 points up north and its because some 4th liner was injured.

I listen to TSN in Edmonton because the talent is that much better (outside of mornings). Men against boys. Oilers content is the price you pay to hear a competent broadcaster.

Fill you boots. They’re still unlistenable Oiler’s homers with any actual insight originating from outside their market.

Just because they don’t make as many Gretzky 80’s Oiler references as Stauffer doesn’t make them listenable.

Why waste your time with 1260, just listen to the direct TSN feed out of Toronto.
