I won’t pile on, and I’ll just say I’m not a fan in her current deployment. I love the idea of growing roles for women in the game and in broadcasting. You can’t sacrifice quality of the broadcast to force this though. Give other woman a shot, don’t give her so many slots if she’s this bad. I feel it’s a little forced. Perhaps if we didn’t have so much of her, the backlash wouldn’t be so loud and angry.

Cut her back, try someone else and truly grow while continuing to deliver a quality product.

I dunno, buddy, seems like you think your opinion about it (and about this conversation) is pretty important. Fairly certain I'm not the one being sanctimonious here.

The martyr accusation is hilarious. My point is, there is legitimate criticism and there is endless piling-on. Too often, I find threads become bogged down with the latter. That's it.

Really? How insightful, do you feel better about yourself? You seem like a solid human.

For what it’s worth I think I specifically avoided describing the things that irk me about her style, I could have written a whole post on that. That’s what I meant about not piling on. Not piling on, doesn’t mean I’m going to hide my underlying opinion.

Anyways the point I was trying to make was that I think it’s less about her and more about her deployment. I think there would be a less intense reaction from fans if the role wasn’t so forced.
