I wish pro sports was incentive based and you got paid based on performance. How any of these guys can sleep at night after cashing the massive checks that they get paid is beyond me.

A reversed 20 min game by the team and it is not acceptable. I felt that they were preserving energy in the first, no forechecking no flow, no plan at all. Then the third rolled around and they felt gee we have some gas in the tank and decided to turn it up.

Anyways, how the hell our FO is that terrible?

Mony, Backs all sucked.

Could you imagine if Valimaki didn't make that soccer save?

Can't wait to see Sutter.

Stats are inflated by the two games he played likely nursing that injury from the collision vs the Nucks.

Markstrom is a damn good goalie. Though I'm sure it's hard to feel inspired behind this team right now.

Probably quite comfortably on really expensive Alaskan king sized mattresses

Are you blaming Markstrom here?

His numbers aren't great because the team in front of him has been hot garbage. But he has been their best player this season. Without him, Ottawa is probably ahead of us right now.

Flames are playing worse defensively this year... Markstrom is the least of our problems. 5 or 6 break aways tonight?

Lmao give me a break dude. This has to be the worst take of the year by a country mile.

Jacob Markstrom is the only reason we got a point tonight and is the only reason we have more than 5 wins all year. Truly just an absurdly awful take. Like, mind blowingly bad.

Hiller would have horrible numbers with this team in front of him. The 2015 team rarely ever took the night off. Markstrom is one of the only bright spots this season.

Everything about this year is just off, like a pinball machine on tilt.

We fire our coach ahead of a critical, possible season changing make or break weekend and can’t even get Darryl behind the bench for massive back to back games.

And Hiller's numbers when that team took their foot off the gas the next season(s)

Perhaps. But he's done more with less.

Pretty sure this team is not making the playoffs. The rest of the season will be about changing culture and figuring out who is going to be here next year.

The Flames look lost. Lots of effort with zero benefit.

Gio skating with the stick in his skates is a good summary of the season.

Tilt means you tried, this team is content with the gutter ball over and over. Zero tilt.

I don’t see much of that effort you’re talking about.
