I hope Sutter can help. However, this roster/team just isn’t good enough. The game is a battle of the lower echelon teams of the division. That lies solely on the players themselves and the more so the man who built this roster, Treliving.

I hear you, but I am seeing some positive signs in terms of style of play. Forecheck seems better, gaps seem tighter. I think we'll see those things pay off in the next couple periods.

We can still blame the coach because incompetent player making $8 million a year cannot play hockey. I just say we have the worst team in the league. At this time A third of the team should have been benched to make a statement to the fan that the team care for accountability.

I don’t care how much skill a team has, if they fail to engage physically in the offensive zone, they rarely generate chances. The flames aren’t taking the body with consistency, backLund the #1 culprit that period, but magianpanne wasn’t that far behind.

What we are seeing is a team coming out from under a system and playing hockey a way that's more muscle memory. I'm happy they havent rung the puck around the boards 4 times in an attempt to initiate a cycle. So yeah, positives but we aren't anywhere near close to competitive IMO.

It took Ward 80+ games to screw this up. Going to take time to fix the team.
