I'd say that the quality of the post-game press conferences is going to decline but Ward's recent press conferences have been as empty and useless as Sutter's worst ones.

Mostly I agree but I think Monahan will do fine. He works a lot harder than people think. Bennett - iffy. His drive to the net is Sutter hockey. His lazy D isn’t.
Sutter will love Tanev. He will also ride Markstrom and he may not love Rittich.

Calling Glen Gulutzan abd Geoff Ward "head coaches" is a stretch.
Bill Peters and Bob Hartley didn't/haven't worked in this league since.
In my eyes, this is the first real head coach this team has had since Bob Hartley, and Bob Hartley wasn't a very good head coach.

Wow, pretty stunning to say the least. I've watched many a Flames team out of position and not knowing where to be. Something that wasn't as common with his teams. Back when Johnny Flame used to post here, he was pretty adament that Iginla was a good player, but Sutter was the leader and Iginla was an extension of Sutter. This team does seem like it needs that type of Leadership in a bad way. Won't be boring.
