I hope this works. Except i remember year after year of sandpaper grinding hockey with Darryl. (Yes i loved 04 too so dont retort with that)Will he fix the inconsistency? Yes. To a point. Will we like the eventual product/outcome? Doubtful.

Can't wait to see the line combos Darryl goes with. I feel like this team has been putting square pegs into round holes for too long.
And disappointed this happened after Jermaine Franklin moved away. Some more Darryl vs. Jermaine pressers are always good for some extra post-game entertainment!

Yes he made some errors last time out as the Flames GM, but I think he took that experience and benefited in LA from it. I'm sure he had a voice at the table in LA when building that team. I trust him a lot more in any situation over BT, who has won absolutely nothing. However I do agree overall he is a much better coach than GM.

I’m legitimately shocked. Rhett was talking about this exact thing a few mornings ago and I had wondered if this could even remotely be a possibility at this point in the season.
I thought I was going crazy watching how this team was structured on the ice and thinking ‘Am I missing something here that the management team doesn’t see how bad the decision making and coaching tactics are?’
I’m just glad we can focus on some positives and have a legit chance of turning this S-show around.

This is a small team for Sutter to work with. Sutter will likely demand bigger players. I’m kinds shocked, but the change is good. If Tre doesn’t make any moves to get bigger wingers, both Tre and Sutter will be gone next year.
