Didn't even get lose possession over it.
Maybe UEFA will review and suspend him over it, since it was missed. Here's hoping.

an underwhelming 0-0 between Schalke and Mainz, and realistically that should be the final nail in Schalkes coffin. They are 8 points behind Hertha, Mainz and Bielefeld with only 10 games to go (they need to leapfrog 2 of them to make it to relegation), and this one was probably their easiest game left ... but they showed no urgency at all, the team already looks the players have given up. This was the first game for their new head coach Dimitrios Grammozis by the way, their fifth this season.
it's a pretty remarkable downfall for a team that finished 2nd in the Bundesliga in 17/18 and reached the CL knockout stage in 18/19. But this is not a fluke, they went 0-6-10 in the final 16 games last season too ... there's simply no quality left in the team. And they only have themselves to blame, years of mismanagement have now caught up with them.

I feel like they have some talent, really they should not be in danger of relegation, but everything is a mess. But with the players they have they should not be in danger.

Hoppe looks like a great talent, and the likes of Serdar and Harit (in theory) are okay too. But other than that, I do feel it's a pretty weak squad. They have lost a lot of quality over the last few years.
