Scary. So is he going to go back to the gelling?

I honestly feel like Monahan's been a great winger playing as a C his whole career.

Noticed they carried the play up the middle much more and used both sides of the ice to break out. Is it because the new lines or did the coach adjust? Either way, offensive breakouts and zone entries were much better, gained a lot more room for the D to pinch.

Ritter struggled a bit. Hopefully Markstrom is back soon.
They were using those breakouts against Toronto, but no one noticed. I want to see how they do against a D a lot better than the Sens, who give a lot of time and space and cough up the puck easily.

Only one of those was in embarrassing fashion, and Monahan was out so he couldn't do the real PO lines then.

you don't have to apologize for everything

and it wasn't a quarter of the season, it is 40% over already, and the Flames are in a pretty deep hole

Steinberg and Wills now debating whether or not to keep Lindholm at 1RW.

Loubo: "Moving Lindholm to 1RW is both the best thing that happened right now and the worst thing that you had to do it."

Steinberg: "With Lindholm at 1RW, the team doesn't have a #1C."

Wills: "Need to keep Lindholm at 1RW for now because the team needs to win."

Loubo: "What about Dube to grow into the 1RW role? But 1st line needs someone responsible defensively."

It is good to know that you have lines that work and lines that do not work. Gives you options as a coaching staff.

Were they? I was out of town all week and missed both games.
Good to see. This could be a game changer.

I kid, I kid.
I can’t remember, did Bennett play on LW or RW on Backlund’s line in his first full year? He looked reasonably good that year. Other than that, I’ve never liked him at RW on any other line. With his left shot, he always loses possession trying to go around the outside on the right. He’s much better stickhandling up the middle, where he has more room and can use his skating to beat out a check.

Good win. I get wanting to play lindholm at center but flames don’t have a choice right now. They need wins. Him back at rw with Johnny gives them the best chance.

Mikael Backlund 1234...65

1 goal, 2 assists, 3 points, +4, 65% faceoffs.

Amazing.

LOL you know things are bad when Oilers fans are openly hoping for your coach and GM to stick around as long as possible.
