Ok maybe I'm I bit hard on Sportsnet. They need to fill time I guess.

Flames doing a much better job today on breakouts and puck possession.

I was looking at the boxscore today and I was stunned to see that Andrew Mangiapane scored his 8th goal of the year, whereas Sean Monahan scored just his 4th.

Seriously. Eatbread has twice as many goals as Moneyhands. Assists are the exact opposite of course, so Monahan has more points overall, but that is just bizarre.

Look, I know that Monahan has been solid to good defensively this year and he's clearly focused on that more, but that blows my mind...for both players.

Well, the move is effective in part because that motion means there is a large amount of unpredictability of the release point and angle of the shot.

It is strange and should not be a thing.

I usually watch the away feeds of the other teams, and I never hear discussion on other teams not involved in the game or McDavid or the Oilers.

Could also be because TSN is just in another class.

I wish they picked up our rights.

They need to get Mangiapane some PP1 time, he’s earned it this year.

Eatbread has always had this elite goalscoring ability. He's a Cammaleri type talent. Probably even trending to be better.

I don't remember Cammy killing regular penalties for this team. Maybe I have a bad memory though.

Cammy was a one-trick pony, but he was very good at it.

Mangi does a lot of things well, very different player. But I doubt he'll be as prolific a scorer as Cammy.

He's probably a 20 goal guy as it stands.

Geez, I'm sure playing on PP2, playing bottom six for so much of his career, and a global pandemic in his first couple real top 6 years have nothing to do wih that.
