The pinch there by Andersson looked like the Peters era type aggressive o zone play. The Sens player didn't think there would be a defenseman there and that giveaway caused a scoring chance.
Flames under Peters surprised many teams with that aggressive pinch and many goals occured on sequences after that pinch.

His team would have to get the puck to the other side of the red line to know what he coaches

Good period, though two goals were pretty soft by Murray IMO. Still, better passing, and better in front of Rittich except for a short span of about 4 minutes.

Well that made for a much more relaxing watch. That’s more like it!

The play dies on Gio’s stick all the time. Try passing the puck instead of fluffing a weak shot into the guys shin pads....or goalies chest.....or over the glass. Or what if he actually tried a slap shot instead of a flick!

They may have scored 3 goals on 20 shots but they still look like they are stopping to think on most plays which makes their play look so slow. Still cutting the ice in half on their break outs too. I do not get that!!

Calm down Geoff and learn to take a joke. I also advise you to not throw your players under the bus in intervirws after the game and not be so sensitive.

Flames actually look like an NHL team that period. Keep it up and build some confidence in your play.
