Core is definitely questionable, and won’t get them far, but this team is and should be better than what they are right now. That’s on coaching.

I don't think anyone is on the side that it's JUST a coaching issue.
But he sucks too, so even if we somehow addressed the problems with the roster, the team would still suck because he's an awful head coach.

Doing nothing though is infuriating because this is painful, boring hockey to watch for the most part.

I think they've played the style of game that suits this core for just a fraction of the time that they've been together.

Big changes need to be made to the team too, but you can't just make changes like that whenever you want, not unless you want to get fleeced in a trade.
Can fire the coach right now if you want, and since he's a terrible head coach I don't see why you wouldn't.
