At this point, I think the Flames should blow it up and pick up Skinner. That team would probably give up a lot just to get him off the roster. They have some decent prospects, young players and their picks will be high because they suck!
Cozens, uka-pekka-whatevet, Pekar, quinn, first round picks....

I'm not sure if Eichel would be any happier playing in Calgary than he is in Buffalo, if traded. I can't even say the Flames are a better team at the juncture. Now or in the future.

Skinner has more negative value than Eichel has positive value.
Flames can't take on 19+ mill in cap space.

Maybe if the contract wasn't another 6 years. He has got to be in the top 20 for how much he makes.

I've said it before but just take Eichel and Okposo. At least Okposo's contract would end at the same time as Lucic. Skinner attached with Eichel would drag down Eichel's value.
