The Flames haven't done anything tonight. They got down by 2 early and have had no pushback as usual. The expectation is this team should contending for the Cup and it's clear we aren't. If this doesn't show we need to fire Ward I don't know what will.

The season is far from over as only Toronto is really separating themselves from the pack in the North. But realistically the expectations on the Flames are very low and even if they make the playoffs it probably won't be something to get excited for.

The good thing about this season is there have been so many games that have not really been close that you hear a lot of old hockey stories during the game as airtime filler.

Flames are the only team in the league that could have all 5 players back, have the puck behind their own net, have the opposition go for a full line change...... and still fail to clear the zone.

Their passing, decision making and general overall give a crap is pathetic.
