You aren’t going to get a quality coach to take the job picked buy a clear interim GM though is the problem. So you won’t get anyone good as a coach to finish this season until the permenant GM replacement is found. All you’ll get is unproven coaching talent willing to be hired by a clearly temp GM, as the new GM will want their guy.
And from our perspective we don’t want the new GM having to ride out the other guys coaching choice like BT did with Hartley. You want to hire your GM, then have them pick the coach, and that takes time.

At some point though, the fingers need to be pointed at the ownership group. If Murray Edwards is happy with the mediocre decade maybe its time to sell the team to someone local who cares about the success of the team.
