I started watching Toast of London, simply because Matt Berry stars in it and writes it.
"Steven Toast, an eccentric middle aged actor with a chequered past, spends more time dealing with his problems off stage than performing on it."

I love it, and most of the episodes seem to be on YouTube. If you're going to give it a shot, this is a great episode to try out:

NSFW for language and some boobies.

I may or may not be a weirdo, but I've been having a blast watching old episodes of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Also, like most men I'm sure, I started out in the Rachel Riley camp... but over time, I've definitely move over to Susie Dent.

I was a fan of 8 Out of 10 Cats and then they started doing specials where they play other game shows like Deal or No Deal and Countdown. The latter became such a hit they do it way more than the original format.

The normal Countdown seems like a deary game show for old people, But 8OOTC do fun bits and try to spell words like C U Next Tuesday.

Rachel is gorgeous but Susie's geekiness is more my type. They're both way out my league.

Will watch anything with Matt Berry in it.

For those who haven't watched the "What we do in the shadows" series on FX, do so.

Matt Berry is also a musician and the theme song for Toast is by him.

has any one seen Year of the Rabbit with him? Can't find it at all

Watched Red Oaks on a recommendation from a friend. Thought it was a really easy to watch show. Crushed 3 seasons in a week. Wasn't a lot of well known actors, but they played their parts really well.

Obligatory Matt Berry post:

Ever since his time on IT crowd, I've followed him closely. The scene below is just a tiny sample of his work. He rushes in to grieve his estranged father's death.

The scene was so stupidly memorable it stuck with me, and so of course, when I saw this t-shirt was available, I had to buy it.

Just finished S3 of True Detective. Absolutely LOVED it. The series is back on track and I honestly might have enjoyed this season more than S1. Mahershala Ali with one of the best performances I've ever seen on a TV show. Fantastic ending as well.

Began watching Fargo and really enjoying it. Nice to see some recognizable places in Calgary, although it sure looks like a barren wasteland in some scenes . Saw my office building in one of the scenes!

I just finished "Kingdom" on Netflix after seeing it on there for quite some time.

I am not an MMA guy so I was a little apprehensive but I decided to give it a go after reading all the great reviews on IMDB, etc.

It was FANTASTIC! Great writing and characters. Highly recommended.

The last few episodes of Vikings hit it out of the park. Outstanding.

I just saw an actual article about Better Call Saul that they're only just entering production in March, targeting Q1 2022 for the show to come back. So scratch that one off for 2021.

Finished Fargo S1. Pretty good overall. Not as amazing as some others have told me but I enjoyed it. Just found it annoying how pretty much every character this season seems to be a grade-A moron other than BBT, the cop lady and her dad but I guess that is what they were going for. I found it got better as the season went along so overall enjoyed it and will start S2 later.

Going to start Ted Lasso tonight as everyone says it's hilarious and I need a good comedy to get into.

Decided to give the first episode of the #1 and #2 television series currently on Netflix a try.

#2 Firefly Lane - not very good, kind of all over the place. Maybe not my cup of tea, so I'll not judge it.

#1 Ginny and Georgia - one of the worst written pieces of crap I've ever been unlucky enough to sit through. Written by a couple of aging producers, so out of touch that they manage to insult the viewer constantly. There is no reprieve. Whoever made this abomination is a bag of dicks.

The issue with streaming tv now is it’s turning into general tv. People are watching filler while doing other things. So shows like these (Emily in paris is apparently another) will continue to make their way on Netflix.

Really digging The Expanse so far. It is the brilliantly written gritty humans in space sci fi I’ve needed in my life ever since attempting to watch the tire fire known as Star Trek Discovery.
