Is my roommate a drug addict.....
I have started a few wierd threads today....well here is another. I have been living with a roommate for a while and a few months ago I started to notice the smell of pot in the house late at night...no big deal...I didnt care to much. But now over the past month or so I have smelled less weed....but I am now smelling something new that concerns me. I cannot explain the smell...kind of sweet.....very strong.....in some way the smell reminds me of BO coming off a person...but 30 X stronger. Now I am only smelling this maybe once a week, and always late at night. I cannot think of anything that could possibly smell like this...it cant be any kind of food that I know of, it isnt an airfreshener......so I am now thinking this dude is smoking something like crack or meth or opium or something....but I know nothing of these drugs and cannot say for sure. Any insight on this one......

I lived with a crackhead once. You shoulda seen his face when he realized we had a floor.
The guy who said 'get a new roommate' was giving good advice.

Doesnt really smell chemically.....it is a very hard smell to describe. As far as asking him.....I dont know...I am moving out within a week or two anyway to come back to Calgary so I will probably just stay silent....I just want to know if I should be locking up my valuables when this guy is home.

I'd say - lock your valuables up but don't over-react. Just don't look back when you leave there.

lol... that is the worst commercial. I swear it must be dubbed over, because the voices sound like bad 80s dubbing.

The commercial is dubbed. I saw it once where the woman said something vaguely insulting, sexist, and demeaning. For the life of me I can't remember what it was though.

Crack doesn't smell sweet, if you've never smelled it.
It smells kinda musky and kind of takes your breath away like ammonia.

I've seen it on the French channel and it seems to match up better.

If you only smell it once a week late at night and you are moving out in the next couple weeks then you are probably going to avoid the "my roommate sold my i-pod for crack" phase.

ammonia, like chemically.
I've only read about the smell of smoking Coke, and from what I can gather, from what I've read, it smells very chemically.
