Wowow what a set of wins!
Hope it put some doubt into Giannis for signing long term with the Bucks! Haha!
The team NEEDS to make a trade for a center. They can't keep playing games short handed and with no ability to go big for short stints to counter act or to close out.
Drummond is a no go, in my opinion.
Bring back one of my favourites in JV and I will be supremely excited for the post season!!

They totally deserve the Larry OB this year! They have the world saver Rudy!
How many lives did he save last year? 1 million? 5 million?

Getting JV back would be awesome as long as we didn’t have to give up too much.

The question is what will they have to give up to get a Center?
Baynes is about as athletic as the average Canadian office worker. Just painful. How can someone be that unathletic and a professional athlete?

Big trap game tomorrow, but it's time finally get to .500.
Feeling weirdly confident about this team, the East is a crapshoot this year with almost every team battling inconsistency and I like the growth shown by our core and bench guys. I think Norm is a part of the future here.

Unfortunately I think the Nets simply have too much star power. Conference finals is probably the ceiling for this Raptors team at least for the next few years.

Don't discount Philadelphia, Embiid is looking pretty damn determined this year. The Nets have the guns but they are historically bad on D. Having said that I would love to see Nets-Lakers in the final. The storylines are too good. NYC vs LA. Lebron Vs Kyrie / Lebron Vs. KD and of course James Harden.
Anyways I am ok with that being the Raptors ceiling. They're a really fun group to root for and frankly a well run team with a great development system and awesome culture. Something that is refreshing to see as a Flames fan.

Yikes, things were looking so good for the Raps with only 35 points allowed in the 1st half ... then they give up a 23-1 run in the last 8 minutes of the 3rd quarter. Another nightmare 3rd quarter against the T-Wolves.

If the Raps were to somehow make it to the finals, no matchup would be more fun to watch (IMO) than Raps vs Kawhi & the Clippers, especially if the Raps won it.

Boucher was fantastic tonight.
That yeeted 3 by Fred near the end of the 1st quarter with the shot clock about to expire was beautiful.

I missed this one, but it’s a pretty strange box score. Norm was a minus 26, Boucher and TD were both plus 32. Must have been some big runs by both teams.
Awesome win to pick up!

Are the....are the Raptors actually a good team? I thought for sure this year would be a rebuild year and some key veterans would be traded. But now I'm not so sure. It seems they're really starting to figure things out. I'm not sure they have the horses for a long playoff run, but they're going to scare the hell out of some teams in a 1st round matchup.

The Raptors are well coached, and in a game where it's harder for a team to be greater than the sum of it's parts, they find a way to be just that. Nick Nurse continues to do a good job coaching this group.

Best coaching staff in the league. In my opinion.
Might be one of the only teams without a legit superstar who can hang with every team in the league and execute a well thought out plan.
Sure would be nice to have that star though, the Refs bias towards the stars is very apparent in every game. The lack of respect the Raptors/Nurse get is appalling.

Hopefully they can maintain their coaching edge. They are losing their second assistant this year to a head coaching job.

Another dominating performance by the Jazz! I am well aware of the Lakers not being 100%, but the Jazz took that game over and did not look back.

Well, they ARE still playing shorthanded most nights. They can't compete with any team at the 5
Baynes was a huge swing and miss. He should be a 12 min a night bench player. Boucher is awesome, but again, he can't compete with a mobile strong 5 and it really shows.
The team has to play balls to the wall to beat any complete team and some times the percentages arent going to go in their favour.
They can't keep starting every game on the PK simply because management is handcuffing them.
Either #### or get off the pot and get a legit center.
