The Boy Wonder claimed to have read it on Twitter, and saw the video, but didn't share a link to either. I couldn't find anything mentioned on Twitter about it.
Maybe he can follow up as I don't think anybody else has claimed to read or see it.

Friedman and Mackenzie are the best in the business. The only time I tune in to any mid-period Sportsnet content is if he's part of the team during the segment, everybody else... sucks.
The fact that the flames have had so much contention for him to bring up, has little to do with Friedman or his reporting abilities.
Where there is smoke there is fire....
Tkachuk completely started to suck after the team meeting, not hard to connect the dots that something went a-miss there. Bennett's agent happily went on record to state the player doesn't want to be here no more. Flames have been basically a garbage team for most of the season so far. Of course there will be more behind the scenes frustration and concern leaking out.
Some folks around here are pretty amazing. Just this season, we've seen so much blame cast to the broadcast teams, arena shot clock counters, and now media insiders.... it's crazy.
The flames suck, on the score board, in the stats (fancy or not), in the win-loss column, and it's getting coverage by the media (not to mention the behind the curtains rumours) ... booo hoo.

Friedman only talked about national stories in the first intermission and just did Headlines in the second intermission. Neither of Matthew Tkachuk or Martin Gelinas was mentioned in either intermission by Friedman, and Tkachuk was only discussed in the context of the deflection goal in the first intermission.

Could also be that the Flames management isn’t giving him much to work with. How do these “insiders” get info? I don’t think it’s paying guys, so it’s gotta be masterful butt kissing and passing info to guys in exchange for hints. Plus the team doing bad this year makes it easier to speculate on. I find him and Lebrun twerps who take themselves too seriously in recent years. Maybe insiders should be phased out. When have any of them speculated anything a month before it actually happened? It’s fun and all but they’re professional gossipers. Let’s not put them up on a perch.

They have to come up with something juicy... Its what they are paid to do. In the absence of credible information he needs to come up with plausible scenarios.. Mans just trying to keep his family fed in a dwindling industry. No hate from me. He cant come on and say i've heard nothing and speculate nothing lol.
