I figured the milk cartoon was just a reminder that all the kids are missing.

I hope Agatha is a red herring and wanda just created her to be a scapegoat for all the bad things she's done. I'd be really disappointed if wanda was being manipulated by her and the sword guy this whole time and they have the typical marvel "villain has same powers as hero" showdown.

Well, missing until they are useful to Wanda (or the puppeteer)

I still have "Agatha All Along" stuck in my head.

I think the missing person was just a MacGuffin, a plot device that gave them an explanation for why an FBI agent from San Francisco was in New Jersey investigating Westview. They haven't been mentioned since because they're not important to the story.
Also, I assume Ralph is just one of those sitcom tropes of the oft-mentioned but never seen spouse, like Vera on Cheers or Maris on Frasier. I suspect there is no Ralph and it was just part of Agatha playing along with the sitcoms.

Ralph is the Fly on the curtain
I don't see how Vision comes out of the Hex alive. He's basically a reanimated corpse.

Isn't he closer to being a broken computer than anything?

I liked it better. Everything in the hex is interesting and clever but the SWORD storyline and acting reminds me of the pre-teen Disney stuff my daughter used to watch.

That was fun! Monica is now Spectrum and A villain has been revealed. What was said to her in the post credit? I didn't hear it well enough.
I really find Monica's actress so damn pretty.

I'm not really feeling this show to this point. The generally flat episodes with giant dramatic spikes right at the end is getting a little tired.

Remember that Wanda saw him in a corpse like state earlier this year. I expect he'll fall apart.

What this whole series boils down as, to me, is that they have the ingredients that they need to create a recipe to open up the MCU to the XUniverse.
Agatha opens up portals to alternate dimensions. They call her a 'witch' and that is pretty much her entire 2000 year old backstory, but that ability is the crux of her power.
Wanda has the same basic powers as the reality stone. She can rewrite her environment, and that ripples out from whatever she does, to effect the universe.
So you have Agatha open a portal to the X-Men Universe. She pulls in Quicksilver, and he is partially effected by the existing Hex. Wanda gets confused. Her hex is being altered by the portal that Agatha opened. Wanda shifts reality to include the portal. All #### breaks loose. Hello X-men.
I think that Agatha could easily be the missing person. She's not necessarily evil, she's just centuries old, watched all of her friends and family die repeatedly and hates to be pushed around.

Aside from a handful of films like Guardians, Thor and Iron Man (years ago) I haven't really watched any of the MCU movies. Would this show still be enjoyable or would I need way more information to understand what's going on? A lot of our friends and family are watching this and enjoying it. Thinking about jumping on board but want to make sure we won't be totally lost.

Age of Ultron and Endgame/Infinity War help to understand the characters better and provide some context to some of the things that are happening.

I really wouldn't bother with it if you haven't seen Infinity War and Endgame. Probably Age of Ultron and Civil War as well.

There's apparently a big cameo coming up that could require other movies to appreciate. Then Wanda will be in Dr. Strange 2 so might need to watch Dr. Strange to continue her story.
Even not watching Antman 2 means you won't appreciate Jimmy Woo as much as he deserves.
So yeah, if you aren't interested in the MCU movies, I really see no reason to watch this one.
