Awesome that you watched a playoff win. Those are great to see. Fun nights every time
It was a wonderful night - to date it is my only play-off game, and I was there with my son. Tremendous atmosphere and experience.

It is going to be a long long time before that happens again.

It's hard to make trades, but it's also hard to win if you never make any tangible adjustments.

Maybe it's time for the Flames to actually try changing the course of their season.
Tells you all you need to know.

Brad Treliving is afraid to do anything outside of tinker with this flawed roster, outside of one move with Carolina.

You don't have to fleece a team on the same level.

But there's such a thing as a lateral move that could spark your club. The combination of character and skill in this core doesn't work as a whole for more than spurts at a time. Exchange a Gaudreau for a Konecny type. Or Monahan for a similar 1A/B.

Look what a change of scenery did for Lindholm. That's the potential upside to lateral core moves.

We should have done that after the bubble playoffs. To come into this season expecting anything other than a continuation because you added Leivo/Simon/Nordstrom is just utter delusion.

There isn't a hidden potential to this current group of guys. Tkachuk will get better individually, so will Mangiapane. But on the whole, there isn't much more there that will suddenly take us all by storm.

Actually transplant some major pieces of this core with new ones however, and you might just give this team the new DNA it needs.

I'd like to see Treliving try. If he's unwilling to or doesn't have the cahones, I'd like to see him gone for someone who will.

Because this team needs a total rebranding at the personnel level.

Whats been happening for 5 years since the core's one and only real run cannot persist. We're spinning our wheels and trying nothing new.

Need new. Need fresh. Need different. We needed it yesterday.

Nut up, Treliving.

^ and at the same time, what is Johnny’s expected production over 82?
~60 / ~80 / ~99 points?

We have seen all. There is year to year variability

What situation maximizes your assets individually and collectively?

You don’t trade 99 point guy on a 6.75 contract. You get your #### sorted

Lucic should have made a statement on the ice about the next game. It appears none of them hate to lose.

That Ducks clip was great memories. During that game I asked my brother if he wanted to beat traffic. He said let's wait and see if any fireworks. We went nuts when Iggy finally got his arm free (flung off a pad).

04 run Iggy would drop the gloves to let them know the next game would be different.

Lucic said he watched Iggy growing up. Francis asked about old school hockey after VAN game.

This game was a letdown on many levels by every single person. CGY was ok with everything.

Show something.

The 99 pt guy is leaving soon on his own

His center is probably useless without him

Yet another game I'm glad I skipped thru after the 1st period. What a LOL fest.

Preparing myself to how the Flames falter against the Sens later this month. Those are trap games and I can almost taste how the team is going to #### the bed against them.

Ah well, not surprised in the least this team falters season after season. Life of a Flames' fan.

Tuned out at 4-1. Looks like I didn't miss anything as most of the Flames had tuned out earlier than I did.

If true... wtf fire everyone! If we can’t cheer for teammates fighting then I’m done with this team
There was a brief clip of Tkachuk cheering on Sam in the broadcast but I didn’t see Gelinas at all. If this is true though, I think it points to a big problem in the dressing room that they’ve managed to keep hidden.

The problem is that the absolute ####ing chimps running the team seem to believe that the fight/ support your team mates crowd in the dressing room is the one whose wrong.

I'm calling it now: the seeds of this existed since rhe Dallas series. I bet Tkachuk said something to gio about his #### play during that series during the heat of it.

Downhill from there to the muzzln event where Tkachuk clearly felt completely unsupported by the team and got in that weird bench door altercation with gio again.

I want our "captain" to come out and start talking honestly about what's going on in the room. It seems to me like this guy has 0 leadership skill yet we are relying on him pulling thr room together. He's never won ####. He doesn't know how to win in thus league. Letting him dictate the emotional level of the players is completely idiotic.

Went to bed as soon as Backlund took the stupid penalty in the first period. Looks like it was a smart choice omg.

I wonder about his off ice commitment.

What did Wills mean by ‘players have to leave their comfort zone on AND OFF the ice.’
