No.... we aspire to be mediocre. The Oilers are mediocre, and they just kicked the crap out of us twice in a row. The score both nights greatly flattered the Flames.

The Nucks are a well below average team... and they kicked the crap out of us earlier this week.

The Flames are below both those loser plagued teams.

I kind of feel bad for Ward because he had an opportunity to go back to the “old” lines but suddenly Monahan got hurt. But then I realize it probably wouldn’t have mattered anyway, if everyone else is stuck playing the same boring system. He’s likely lost the trust of the team and it’s becoming evident that he doesn’t have the answers. I hope he proves me wrong but I’m not holding my breath.

Has anyone yet answered how or when Monahan sustained his injury? That's all ####y to me. This team smells absolutely rotten inside. Something is festering.

Why the #### does Ward still have a job? Have to be a complete moron to think he should be anywhere near an NHL team.

Fun fact: After that awful 9-1 loss, the Flames went on to finish the season with the second-best record in the league.

Holy good grief. That is ridiculous. Ridiculous.

The Flames scored 1 goal, and bled scoring chances.
Could have used a couple saves early.
There's plenty of blame to go around.

This team has been looking for silver linings since 2006.

Never advocated tanking before, but honestly, this team, outside of maybe 4-5 guys is mediocre.

Not going to get any where at this rate.

Ward carries a lot of blame but the Flames are also playing badly period. They can’t pass, they are shooting blanks, they lose puck battles all the time and the giveaways in their own zone are ridiculous.

Now, I suppose you can say Ward is to blame for not making them execute better, but there’s a fair amount of vets who are performing poorly right now, and they at least shouldn’t need a coach’s motivation.

Man, what idiotic radio. Flames get outscored 9-2 in back to back boa, and this is what we are hearing.

Lol, talk about being tone deaf on the situation.

Really tough to win when you score one goal....becoming repetitive.

On Fan 960 - They did a lot of things better tonight than last night?

They said the same thing yesterday. Guys we are improving. At this rate, we will have our best game losing 12-1

This team, the coaching staff, management, all of it is just a joke. I’ve always tried to cheer for Calgary being from here and all. Until some major changes happen starting from the top down, this team is doomed.

Good thing I have no players for my hockey pool from Calgary. Have a few from Edmonton including Mcdavid. Hopefully he pots 4-5 points every game against Calgary. Go go Oilers!

Yeah where is the totally MIA team captain? He hasn't been able to unite this team once during his tenure.

Best team of all time couldn't succeed under Ward's trash system. Seriously it's that bad.
