I guess Froese's number was the next one Ward picked out of the hat that determines his line combinations.

Tkachuk and his line mates have been the best players on the ice.

Not a bad first, but my bar is crazily low tonight.
Does McDufus getting that penalty ruin his automatic Selke trophy? Spector and Staples will be apoplectic.

When I see Puljujarvi, I'm always left with the impression that, if he weren't a hockey player, he's be off earning a Nobel prize somewhere

Thank goodness for Eat Bread and his motor.
He's been everything we lost in Byron, probably more.

Versteeg! Excellent. He can throw a wrench in the mcdingleberry love fest. Oh look, nurse’s cousin. I wonder if she’ll compliment the oilers.

Wow. What an engaging Hockey Central panel. Next up, we check in on paint drying.

Perhaps if Tkachuk has a solid game with mang and backs we will see that one stick again after it's success from last year

I thought Andersson was the worst Flame in that period.
Lucic was among the good ones.

They probably get all of their energy sucked out of them watching the Flames play every game

I definitely misjudged the progression I was expecting from Dube, Andersson and valimaki coming into the season.

Will need to be more patient on them.

Sounds about right, the one time they could be forgiven for talking about him since he's actually playing in this game, is the time they don't

I don't know why but I don't hate JP. Even though he's doing stuff now, kind of.
All I know is he once wore Flames swag, and he tried to force his way out of the Oilers org last year. He's proving himself even though the team treated him shart and his handling and development was piss poor, and he had the audacity to ask for one of their sacred numbers. I don't see him as your typical POS Oiler. I hope he finds a way out, because he deserves better.
