It is really sad that Brad Treliving has managed to suck every last bit of enthusiasm I have for this team out of my being. This team has a good number of players that could make this team very competitive, but then he brings in a minor leaguer to coach the club into the doldrums. Just brutal mind numbingly ####ty hockey from a collective of talented players saddled to terrible systems and worse in game decisions.

Season is 1/4 done. Lots to be played yet. Maybe they'll squeak in.

I didn’t like the Simon thing, and people can complain about systems, but this game has at least as much to do with the players just not playing well, especially in their own zone. Losing battles, leaving guys open, failing to clear.

But he also didn't do due diligence when it came to the Peters hire. Peters was his guy and no one else.

The risk of hiring an experienced coach when you are a mediocre GM is that the coach could become the GM eventually, that is something that Tre is probably aware of to.

That's a damn shame then. He's a good assistant, and he gave the org an out.

Tkachuk and Lindholm have had no chemistry as of late.
The player deployment has me baffled, this is painful to watch.

We get it players aren’t playing well but this quick fix is bringing in a vet coach and let the season ride out. Dismantle the core this off season and I mean move a lot of pieces.

If the typical CalgaryPuck GT was a player on the Flames they'd be the moron that kills any momentum by taking a selfish penalty at the worst possible time.

Yep. He’s had enough rope (good will from the fan base) at this point and only used it hang himself.
Get a real coach ya dufus

So you start the hiring process and ask every player he's coached if they've been racially offended? Even the FBI isn't that anal
