Treliving should be marched to the gallows. Coaching change won't happen until offseason. Team can perform proper gm search until then and new gm can ####can ward.

Gotta think it was a budget thing more than anything. And if it was the likelihood of getting rid of two people under contract seems low. That might save Treliving.

Agreed, I like Tree, but he shouldn’t get another shot at a coach (unless there was some meddling that tied his hands on his actual choice). If we need to save the season by firing the coach, someone else needs to be picking said coach.

Tre waa probably told he can't hire an expensive coach because of lack of income

I think it’s exactly what happened. But no, it’s not the worst indictment of Ward yet. There’s plenty of things that I’d argue are better reasons to criticize him than lettering his MVP have one more try.

I've liked and defended Treliving, but this is his last year to get a coaching hire right or he's gotta go too

Yep, he decided his fate making that decision. Just ridiculous. Ward even said he would be open to going back to being an assistant.

Canucks never quit on a play, in all 4 games are the hardest working team. Outside of a few players, the Flames look slow and lazy, playing like they deserve to win; definitely not working hard for the win! Flames look unprepared... by the 4th game in a row, a good coach would have devised a worthy response, unless he has lost the room.

Yet another Flames season. This stuff is tough to watch. Like someone said above Tkachuk will want $9.5mil on his next contract. Get lost. He talks a mean game though.
