Holtby has been strong for the Canucks in goal. One of the reasons they are ahead 4-1.
Didn't like Markstrom coming out of the net. Saved the first but caught on the other. Not good.

Tkachuk has been garbage since the all players meeting and then the Bennett saga. Related?

What a bad way to end to the period. The Flames play a really ugly brand of hockey this year. Even when they are winning.

Guys that showed up last game are not showing up here.
Except Eat Bread and Gaudreau in the back half.
The Valimaki Gio experiment is really odd timing and I don't think this was a game you needed or wanted to try new things on the back end with, with how well the 6 man unit has performed against the Canucks in 3 games.

Oh #### and now we should review all minor penalties because the oilers were on the butt end. Like they’re the only victims of that eh.

Hard to pick on Johnny but damn...you just have to look at him funny and he gives the puck away. Instead of just throwing it into the corner he tries to thread it through 15 other players.

Absolutely he should be. He’s supposed to be one of the leaders on the team and wears a letter. He has been playing like absolute dog ****.

I can't remember any good line combination or line decision that Ward implemented.

I wonder if he is not the leader we think, and that some teammates might be tired of his act.

On another team that 37 second stretch results in changes.

It's individual preparation. Forget the brutal structure, forget the terrible breakout, forget the line matchups, forget the in game decisions, forget the inability to adjust, forget is all. It's strictly individual preparation. I love it when the coaching fraternity stick up for one another, but this is insane.

Doesn’t look like it. He was criticized for throwing a tantrum about something every night. Now according to you guys he’s pouting. Maybe he could grow up and play some hockey.

Markstrom pulled a Smith-onian move.
I think this might actually just be a bad dream.

Leafs blew a 5-1 lead to the Sens without changes...don't be dramatic

He’s the Center he goes to help down low (if anything he was late getting there to help), winger needs to come across to cover on Miller.

Don't know how, but the boys need to win this one for Markstrom. They owe it to him. He's been lights out and has single-handedly won at least 2-3 games this year.

Shades of Dion / Iginla power struggle in the lockerroom again this time with Gio / Chucky?
