Francis talking like the Flames are making the playoffs.
I’m not worried about the expansion draft at all at this point. This team isn’t good enough to be concerned about keeping it together.
Also, I really like Staj during intermissions.

Difference is that those were very good teams that were underachieving.
The Flames might be underachieving a little bit, but they are not in the same class as those teams. I think our fan base really overrates the players and skill on this team. They're ok, can look good in stretches, but not even remotely close to elite, new coach or not. It would be great if they were, but they're not.

It’s cheaper to film one intermission segment for all the games rather than individual segments. Cheapness over everything is rule 1 at Sportsnet.
