I get that you can’t take three penalties but I don’t think that Ward should have benched Mackey.

He’s been good all night and at least 2 of the 3 calls were BS as the cross check and the last call aren’t penalties. He’s been playing aggressive and strong all night and we need more of that.

Edit: Nevermind he’s out there now, just one shift they took him out of the rotation. Probably just wanted to calm him down.

Myers is the same. I always see him smirking behind that size. Someone needs to tune him up good, Edmundson didn't do a good enough job.

Guess he needs to play passive like Ward wants him to.

I agree some of the calls on him were iffy to say the least, but when your #6 dman, a rookie, has taken 3 penalties and you have a 1 goal lead in the 3rd it's not the worst idea to cut his time back. No problem with it.

He is the head coach. I’m sure he has some input as to who is out on powerplays.
