Well #### me...looks like reuniting that Bennett/Lucic/Dube line was the right call.

Vancouver looks like a team that plays with speed, chemistry all over, seems to have a good system and obviously a good coach. Why can’t we have nice things

Bennett was possessed that shift, with him and Dube were showing some chemistry in tight. Then Lucic throws that hit on Virtanen to hold the zone and positions himself in the slot for the one-timer.

Pretty hard when the ref only calls them one way...

I hate the penalty for your opponent not holding onto his stick. Always have. That’s not a penalty if Horvat has a tighter grip but because he didn’t it is? Makes no sense. Frankly, same with hitting a stick that just happens to break, unless it’s a hard two harder.

Rough start by that line with a couple penalties (although both the Dube and Mackey calls were questionable) but they were great after that and had two good shifts.
Still a bit surprised it took until game 15 to see them together again.

So shocking to think a coach should ease a new player into the NHL and no throw him into that position.

The Flames have made Vancouver look good by being lazy, but the Canucks have been one of the worst teams in the nhl this year. Not a team to emulate.

Yea the refs blew at least 2 calls and coincidentally missed a few on the nucks.
Typical Brad Watson period though.

It’s Sam Bennett giving Geoff Ward the middle finger.
It was absolutely inexcusable that Lucic-Bennett-Dube wasn’t a line to start the season.

The thing that annoys me about that goal is they just showed us all what they can do. They can hustle, hit, skate, create pressure and score.
They can do it. But only do it when the mood strikes them. Its so frustrating.

If only the Flames played as hard as the ref blaming in here. They would be 14-0.

Good god quit crying about the refs. Everyone gets bad calls, canucks’ll get some their way in the next 40 I’m sure. You don’t want crappy calls to go against you? Keep moving your feet and play hard. Shocking what effort does.

Dino, I don’t want to burst the bubble, but their effort was rec league level for 17-18 min of that period.

Virtanen gives you that Joe Colborne physical presence. Heard footsteps and gave up on the play. Great shift by that line though, best shift of the game.
