Leivo! Nordstrom! Lucic! Bennett! So much whining about them. How about putting some of this effort, or lack of effort on our useless Captain. Cost us a point tonight.

Hard to be softer than Sean Monahan, but Leivo is doing it. Compete level wasn’t even close, especially when your goaltender is playing that bloody awesome.

For those of us who have followed this team since their inception, the pain continues and it is painful... Nothing we haven't seen more times than not. Sad...

This is a team that already had a players only meeting. Lots of questions on leadership of the team.

This is why I give little thought to subjective statistics...
Johnny Gaudreau was credited with ZERO giveaways this game.

Good thing we were going to take advantage of the weak schedule and climb right back into the playoff picture! I wonder what the excuses are going to be when Ottawa comes in and beats the crap out of us?

I’d like to see some drafted talent in Phillips and Ruzcika given a chance over Simon and Leivo at this point.

I actually have a tough time blaming him for that first Canucks goal. That was a TERRIBLE pass by Monahan.

Treliving sucks. Flames have a bottom 3rd management team in the league. We have a agm acting as a gm. We have an assistant coach hired to be coach.
Sutter was 10x the gm this dufus is.

Playing the same team multiple times in a row is kind of like playing in the playoffs. Which doesn’t bode well when it comes to Ward not making much in the way of adjustments.
I know people thought he played well last game, but Gio is struggling badly IMO. So much so that I’m concerned it’s dragging down Andersson.
The PP was abysmal tonight as well. I hope we see them change it up on Monday. Hope Backlund isn’t out long term.

I wouldn't mind if Josh Leivo never played another game for the Flames again. He's not a top six player, was on the ice for all 3-goals, and his completely inability to clear the puck out of the defensive zone was on display multiple times tonight.
It's luck that his D-zone ineptness resulted in only 2 goals against.
11:45 of ice time tonight? Ward must have been pleased with his team-leading -3 on the night.

Markstrom gives this team a false sense that he will keep them in the game until the rest of the team decides to show up.

Coaching hires may well be the downfall. He got a mulligan with Peters and completely wasted it

What a fat & sassy display that was.
Fattest and sassiest one since the last game.
