If you are talking time of possession, sure.

Actually scoring chances? Not really.

That was a really great segment where each person personality just shined. Almost felt like NBA on TNT.

CGY good in their end, breakouts good, good passing but just need to produce more chances and zone time. Shots will create some chaos and rebounds, seams.

Just need more out of offensive zone. 0-0 on the road after 1st is good result.

Yeah that's actually a really good shout. The more you can emulate that show the better you'll be. It works if it's genuine. Often the stuff they do on the panel on HNIC is just the occasional prepared, lined up zinger (probably cleared with a producer beforehand). The TNT guys can say whatever they want.

Because there was no scripted comments that all the talking heads try and shoenhorn in to sound smart.

That period showed what is good and what is bad about the Flames' play in their own end.

One the one hand, they collapse to the middle, allowing a lot of possession against. And their first pass is too predictable, allowing the other team to pinch easily.

On the other hand, by collapsing to the slot, they hardly give up any dangerous chances.

I think the stats disagree with me, but PP's to start the period are the worst

I think they forgot they still need to outwork the other team even on the PP.

Jesus I'd fire someone for that powerplay. That was the worst I've ever seen.
