Winning today and Monday would put us in a top 4 spot in the North!

The Flames Defensive depth is great this year. Nesterov has been excellent for a third pairing guy, really happy to see his maturity and confidence, especially with his offensive pinches. That said, it’s nice to see Mackey get some time though, taxi squad guys on the bubble need some ice time too. Never know, Mackey may be a gem.

They do need to get the 7/8 guys some game time in case someone goes down.

This is a nice problem to have on the back end.
When having Nikita Nesterov sit is the biggest controversy the team is facing...

I'll accept it for one day since the message is good, but my lord, MacLean needs to lay off the sap at least once in a while. It's 100% of what he does these days

You're the Safeway Score and Win guy for tonight's game then?

Are you going to follow the score and win rules too? of $50,000 per year for 20 years?

Excited for Mackey

But I hope he's ready. We'll need all hands on deck defensively if the desperate Canucks come out again.

Can't afford a couple rookie mistakes leading to goa-

Oh who am I kidding, Markstrom owns the Canucks.

I kind if expect the Canucks to be much tougher tonight....it looked they were starting to play out of their funk last game. They arent as bad as they have played the last 2 weeks or so.

3-2 Flames in OT.

Canucks were quite good last game. I doubt they can get much better.

The Canucks looked exactly the same in their last game in Toronto. I think they are trying; I am not convinced that they can do any better. If the Flames play their game, then they should win.

I don't know if its a controversy. Nesterov last played KHL and they've always had an easier paced seaon. It may be as much to give him a break too.

I would really like to see Kylington tried on the wing. I don't see any reason he couldn't do it and he is more skilled than some guys that play in the bottom six. If it doesn't work he can just go back to D. Can't hurt too much to try it for a couple games.

Does Ryan’s 30 days before needing waivers again get paused with his injury?
