Canucks are incredibly fragile right now, they look so defeated and just waiting for someone to get fired.
I bet a number of players secretly wish the season was just over already.
This is a don't let up on them moment, they will crumble if we play them hard again.

The Flames played about as bad as they could and still beat the Canucks.
The Canucks played their best game of the season and still lost to the Flames.
None of this bodes well for Vancouver.

If the Flames show up, they'll win. Canucks are terrible.
Please just give Markstrom some help this time and try to put in a complete game instead of only playing hard for 20 minutes like the last one. Go Flames!

Will never forget Ed Ward scoring similarly on Garth Snow back in late 90s in a game in Vancouver, similarily, mainly because the camera and mic at the bench miraculously caught Ward after sitting back down on the bench yell down ”Hey Snowy, whiff whiff”.
Edit, March 5, 1998. Snow had just been acquired at the trade deadline earlier in the week (part of the return as Vancouver shipped out Linden to the Isles) and was booed off the ice (according to the Herald article which I can't link) after that period. Irbe came in for mop up duty and Flames won 6-2.

Brawl filled 3rd. Ward fought Staios, McCarthy Brashear, Dingman McCabe Bertuzzi Allison, Ciccone and Gavey. Messier with a boarding penalty.
