Wow really?

I thought Mangiapane was the best skater on the ice. How does he not get a star?

In regard to Gaudreau, not once have I seen him yap at a ref shaking his hand after a slash or a play didn’t go his way this season. Far more mature handling adversity.

They went with the guy who had a goal and an assist versus the guy with the goal.

Both Monahan and Markstrom mentioned Giordano's shot block on Petersen in the third. I think it was Gio's strongest game of the season and it was great to see him back in such fine form. Watching him sacrifice for the team is pretty inspirational to the rest of the team it would seem.

I’m good with Gio as first star. 1g 1a and best game of the season.

Yeah my mistake, wasn't saying he was bad or anything. Garrett's picks though.

Homelander was great at missing the net

Totally! Just strange. No budget for new t-shirts? Never mind the superstitious implications.

Tonight doesn't make me feel very good about the prospect of 4 Ottawa games.

What kind of effort will they bring there?

But I guess if the Sens can make the Oilers and Nucks look good they'll find a way to make us look like a hard working team.

I wouldn't either in a perfect world but I think you need to give Rittich one against a softball team so he can gain at least small bits of confidence...because he's basically been garbage the last calender year.
