I think its too bad the Sens are so terrible this year. My perfect playoffs involves beating the Sens and the Leafs in rounds 1/2.
That would make the Flames the only Canadian team to beat all the others in the playoffs. And I think its likely that record would be permanent. Eternal bragging rights.

Really hope Hamonic draws back in for Vancouver tonight. Hated him on the Flames but I've become a huge fan since he put on a Canucks jersey.

So, with the postponement of the Edmonton game, this creates a broadcast conflict on SNW. Those who are in region or do not have SN360 will likely miss a big chunk of the first period thanks to the no-good Oilers.

I think they thought Demko was the real deal, and Tanev good but... they had it the wrong way round. Tanev was elevating Hughes, not vice versa.

ya, I think it is obvious that Tanev makes other players better. He isn't an offensive threat most nights but he is so reliable. Hughes clearly has struggled but what do you expect when he is a 2nd year player playing with a worse player than Tanev this year.
I'm so happy so far with what Markstrom and Tanev bring to our team. Now the rest of the team needs to keep playing with confidence and keep rolling here.
Big game for the confidence tonight, Flames come out flying and take an early lead and never look back. 4-1 win. Go Flames Go!
