They played well together tonight. Keep it up!
Just want to put in a word of caution. Froese had a good game but he has 17 career points and hasn't been in the league in three years.

Ryan's past four seasons have seen him score 29 (in 69 games), 38, 38, and 29 (in 67).

There's a much more substantial body of work showing Ryan as being a very effective third-line centre. Froese probably isn't a consistent NHLer. Things can obviously change—just look at Ryan as an example—but I'm not optimistic.

Now only 2 points back of the Jets and equal in games.

3 back of the Oilers, with 3 games in hand -- and the Oilers don't play Ottawa again until early March.

It’s one of the few penalties a ref will call at the end of the day and they did it.

Good game.
Ryan Leslie is treading close to Principe-like, dont like that. The occasional is fine but not all the time.

Great game, great intensity, great effort, really strong defensive play that carried over from the last two periods against the Oilers. I do really am liking the little things that SM is doing without the puck. He looks like he's done a major buy in.

People may look back and realize that sitting Bennett for a game or two should have been done a lot earlier in his career.

Man, I hope he turns out to be a player.

The Jets weren't scoring in the last 10-12 minutes of the game. I haven't felt that confident all year.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

Imagine getting a PP with 2 minutes left like that in every game, whether it's earned or not...

I watched that game listening to music the whole time, on DVR. No announcers, no intermission, no talking heads at all. It was glorious.

I feel like 88 deserves a goal song of his own.
